March 2011 Opening Doors!

PRE-LISTING STRATEGIES TO HELP YOU SELL!
Spring is almost here and now is a great time to think about selling. There are many factors to consider when selling, especially in this challenging market. Chloe Real Estate firmly believes in guiding our clients in each and every aspect of this process. We are confident that we offer the most complete list of services that a Realtor can offer.

Staging & Preparation:

We offer free staging and design planning to all of our clients. We offer a preliminary staging checklist and then a customized list, exclusive to your home. It may include things such as moving furniture, painting walls or even small remodeling suggestions. We discuss every suggestion possible and then help prioritize according to your budget and time constraints.

Professional Photography:

The internet has fast become the most visible marketing tool in just about every asset of life. There could be hundreds of people looking for homes online and viewing your listing. Every single listing of ours is marketed with high quality, professional photography. Photos can make or break a viewers interest in your home, and we make sure that the photos of your home reflect it in the best way possible.

Pre-listing Inspection:

An inspection is one of the most valuable components when selling your home. Normally, the inspection is purchased by a potential buyer after they have made an offer on your home. We are happy to say that we can take that guess work away by providing a free pre-listing inspection {for a limited time, so inquire for details}. This can eliminate contract issues and help speed up the process to sell your home.

More to Come:

Knowledge is power! Our goal is to provide our clients the knowledge they need to feel comfortable with buying and selling real estate. We will be rolling out a number of informational blogs this year covering First Time Homebuyers, Move-up Buyers, Condos, REO Sales, Short Sales, New REALTORs, etc. We will also be integrating videos into these blogs as well as setting up a Chloe Real Estate YouTube channel. We intend to reach out to local businesses and create affiliate business partners to expand our community so we can share even more! Stay tuned!

WHERE IN THE WORLD...CHARLESTON, SC

The city of Charleston is located just south of the mid-point of South Carolina's coastline, at the confluence of the Ashley and Cooper rivers, which flow together into the Atlantic Ocean. Charleston Harbor lies between downtown Charleston and the Atlantic Ocean. Charleston's name is derived from Charles Towne, named after King Charles II of England.

America's most-published etiquette expert, Marjabelle Young Stewart, recognized Charleston 1995 as the "best-mannered" city in the US, a claim lent credibility by the fact that it has the first established Livability Court in the country. A livability court focuses on housing and lifestyle codes such as waste, noise and traffic.
The average listing price in Charleston is $451,750. The median sales price in is $185,000, with an average price per square foot of $140. Sales are up 9.6% this year compared to last year.
